Cookies & tracking
Last updated: 2026-09-21
This page explains the first-party browser storage used by the site and the optional X advertising-measurement tag available through the tracking preference notice.
1. Browser storage
Cookies, localStorage, and sessionStorage are browser technologies that can retain information between page interactions. They are not identical and can have different lifetimes. Ordinary server logs can also exist without a browser cookie.
2. Order-confirmation session storage
The preview order-confirmation flow can store an order reference and confirmation timestamp in first-party sessionStorage under the name “order-confirmation”. Its purpose is to display the acknowledgement page. It does not intentionally contain the customer’s name, address, or telephone number.
3. Tracking preference storage
The site stores the visitor’s optional tracking choice in first-party localStorage under the key “fashionoutlett-tracking-consent”. The value records whether optional tracking was allowed or declined so the notice does not need to be shown on every page view. You can reopen the choice using “Manage tracking preferences” in the footer.
4. Essential hosting and security data
The hosting and technical arrangements are:
Our hosting provider may create ordinary server logs needed to deliver and secure the website, including IP address, browser information, requested page, and request time. The site also offers optional X (Twitter) advertising measurement through the X website tag, pixel ID rf9y8. That tag is not intentionally loaded until the visitor chooses to allow optional analytics and advertising tracking through the site’s tracking preference notice. If allowed, X may process browser, device, IP-address, cookie or similar identifier, and interaction information for measurement and attribution. Declining optional tracking does not prevent access to the product or policy pages.
Normal server logs used to deliver and secure the website are not controlled by the optional tracking preference.
5. X advertising measurement
If you select “Allow optional tracking”, the site can load the X website tag from static.ads-twitter.com using pixel ID rf9y8. X may then process browser, device, IP-address, identifiers, and interaction information for advertising measurement and attribution. If you decline optional tracking, the site does not intentionally load that tag.
Your choice does not affect access to the product description, pricing, contact details, or policy pages. X’s own services are governed by X’s applicable privacy terms.
6. Changing your choice
Use “Manage tracking preferences” in the footer to reopen the tracking notice. Browser controls may also allow you to clear cookies, localStorage, or sessionStorage. Clearing stored preferences can cause the site to ask for your tracking choice again.
7. Questions
Read the Privacy policy for more information about personal-data handling. Questions about this site’s use of browser storage or tracking can be sent to [email protected].
